Position reports to:

Vice President, Global Math Operation

Primary Objective

The Math Project Manager delivers specific accountabilities, including math evaluation and technical reviews. The role requires strong interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration, project tracking, and stakeholder communication.

Specific Accountabilities

• Review math submissions for completeness and request additional information when needed.
• Negotiate project deadlines and estimates with project and general managers.
• Monitor and report task status daily, including changes to completion dates.
• Plan capacity for current and pending tasks.
• Coordinate with Math Group Manager, Mathematics Director, or VP of Global Math Operations to ensure adequate workload.
• Support global math queue monitoring in collaboration with other Project Managers and the VP.
• Serve as the main contact for team project statuses.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field, with at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with project management principles.
• Basic knowledge of queueing theory, project management, or agile practices like Scrum and Kanban.
• At least 2 years of experience in a gaming environment.
• Billable expectation of 50-70% based on workload.
