A leading healthcare facility in Toronto is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee major redevelopment projects. The role involves planning, managing, and executing projects while collaborating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in project management and experience in healthcare-related projects.
OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Director of Redevelopment, the Project Manager’s primary responsibilities include planning, managing, and executing major Redevelopment and Capital Projects of varying scales and complexities. The role requires a solid foundation in project management fundamentals.
The first two phases of the current Redevelopment Project, which included an 8-story Patient Care Centre, are completed. The ongoing third and fourth phases involve renovating existing campus buildings and demolishing old structures. All phases are delivered under Infrastructure Ontario’s Design-Build-Finance procurement model.
The Project Manager will oversee project initiation, planning, design, construction, commissioning, FFE procurement and delivery, and project close-out, adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and practices.
Success in this role requires collaboration with Clinical Stakeholders, Engineering and Bio-Med, Infection Prevention and Control, IMT, Security, Parking, and other hospital departments. The Project Manager will work onsite to meet project needs.
