Job summary

LCH Developments Inc., a Toronto-based real estate developer, is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, coordination and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of progressive construction experience, including direct responsibility for managing ICI or mid-rise projects.
• Experience overseeing full project cycles, including tendering, scheduling, budgeting, and change control.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project), and construction management platforms.
• Strong communication, coordination, and decision-making skills to lead internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead tendering activities, including scope development, issuing tender packages, reviewing bids, preparing recaps, managing RFIs/addenda, and recommending awards.
• Oversee permits, utility coordination, site setup requirements, and procurement planning.
• Develop project budgets, schedules, and submittal logs prior to mobilization.
• Manage day-to-day project performance, ensuring work aligns with schedule, budget, quality expectations, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and trades to resolve design issues, clarify scope, and maintain alignment across teams.
• Lead site & trade meetings and provide ongoing support to site staff.
• Monitor budgets, commitments, and change orders, update forecasts and financial logs.
• Prepare owner billing packages and review subcontractor invoices for accuracy.
• Execute change control processes to ensure proper documentation, approval, and integration into project budgets & schedules.
• Implement quality-control processes and coordinate inspections.
• Identify risks early, elevate appropriate, and track mitigation.
• Oversee project closeout, including turnover documentation and financial reconciliation.

About the Position

The Project Manager leads the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout. Key Responsibilities

Pre-Construction Management

• In‑depth understanding of construction sequencing, codes, permitting, and safety requirements
• Strong communication, coordination, and decision‑making skills, with the ability to lead internal and external teams effectively
