Job summary

A leading consultancy firm is seeking a Package Owner to manage technical design packages. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a solid background in project delivery in infrastructure, and a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in technical package or project delivery on infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of progressive design-build and multidisciplinary delivery.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Role description:

As a Package Owner, you will lead the delivery of one or more technical design packages under a Sub-Program Management. Reporting to the Sub-Program Manager and Senior Project Manager, you will be the primary accountable individual for ensuring assigned packages are delivered on time, on budget, and in compliance with technical and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the integrated design team for your assigned design package(s)
  • Work collaboratively with technical and design leads
  • Coordinate sub-consultant scopes, manage deliverables, and track schedule
  • Monitor and report on progress, scope changes, early warnings, and risks
  • Interface with Sub-Program Managers, Technical Discipline Leads, and CJV representatives
  • Escalate risks, issues, and variation orders as required
  • Maintain package-level cost control in coordination with Commercial Manager

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in technical package or project delivery on infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of progressive design-build and multidisciplinary delivery
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing sub-consultants, schedule, scope, and cost
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, Safety in Design (SiD), and Earned Value metrics

The salary range for this position is $78,000 - $117,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
