We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of various projects within our organization. Our Project Manager is pivotal to our organizational success, and we have designed and support a novel role in the MSCP Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Providing coaching, direction, and accountability to MSCP leadership at multiple sites to achieve quality of execution, low variation in deliverables, and a rewarding and safe work environment.
  • Active recognition of MSCP’s potential opportunities with clients and facilitating business development activities to secure these prospects.
  • Acting as an Ambassador for MSCP, its methodology, and value to the client and our personnel and other stakeholders.
  • Effective and timely communication with all team members including Directors and CEO when needed to minimize project risks and maximize value to MSCP and our clients.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships built on trust, transparency, and respect with all stakeholders.
  • Understand MSCP’s goals and strategy for growth and seek opportunities to achieve or support these initiatives.
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and standards of an oil field site.
  • Ensuring successful execution of the project and maintaining its overall health.

Our Project Manager will be primarily located in our Sherwood Park head office with travel to sites within Alberta as needed to provide effective leadership.

Experience And Qualifications

  • Trade ticket relevant in oil and gas, preferably a Degree in Electrical Engineering Technologist, Electrical Engineer, or other engineering disciplines will be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience on an oil and gas site.
  • A degree in construction management, PMP (Project Management Professional) training, or post-secondary training.
  • A proven ability to lead teams, manage conflicts, and motivate large groups.
  • Proven skills in financial planning and budget oversight.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Willingness To Travel Work Flexible Hours:

  • 75% (required).

Pay: $110,000.00-$135,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed.
