Base pay range

Are you an experienced marine professional who thrives on managing complex projects from start to finish? One of Stellar's clients is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee work on a variety of marine vessels. In this hands-on, role based in Richmond, you’ll coordinate resources, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure every project exceeds client expectations. Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of marine projects, from planning and scope definition to execution and close-out
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies in collaboration with internal teams
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders through regular status updates, meetings, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, documenting and reporting incidents, and participating in committee meetings
• Monitor and manage third-party contractors, ensuring alignment with project goals and budgets
• Support additional yard operations including training coordination, inventory assistance, and team collaboration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the marine or maritime industry, or a background in navy/military operations
• Strong understanding of the local marine industry, including commercial, fishing, and pleasure vessel clients
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables with a focus on quality and safety
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments
• Proficiency with computers and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems
• Mechanically inclined with a strong sense of accountability, teamwork, and professionalism

Salary Range - $90-100k/year
