Job summary

First Onsite Property Restoration is seeking a proactive Project Manager (Project Manager I) to lead restoration projects from planning to completion in Canada. You will assess losses, define project scopes, and prepare estimates while coordinating crews, subcontractors, and resources to maintain quality, schedule, and budget.

You will meet homeowners, adjusters, and insurers to provide updates and build trusted relationships, with on-call rotation and safety considered core facets of the role.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience as a Project Manager or in a related restoration or construction role (Mitigation Manager, Lead Water Technician etc.)
  • College diploma or an equivalent mix of education, professional training, and relevant experience will be considered
  • Knowledge/Experience of restoration processes, building codes, and health and safety practices
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret scopes, plans, and estimates
  • Experience with Xactimate or estimating software preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mobile applications
  • IICRC or equivalent certifications an asset; ability to obtain WRT certification required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
  • Must be able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
  • Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)

  • You'll take initiative, solve problems in real time, and ensure every project is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT MANAGER

This role combines office organization with hands-on field leadership, giving you the opportunity to make a visible impact and help clients get their lives back on track.
