- Provide cost estimates based on drawings and specifications

- Implement the task schedule, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones

- Gather essential project information including blueprints, specifications, and other relevant documentation

- Input and organize data for efficient analysis and reporting

- Compile tender packages and facilitate their distribution to trade partners and suppliers, ensuring all necessary documentation is included, such as Bid Bonding Insurance

- Support in the preparations of packages for other departments, ensuring all necessary documentation is included

- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to schedule trade appointments and deliveries optimizing project timelines

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project contracts, change orders, and related correspondence

- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of estimating processes and procedures

- Collaborate with Safety and Field Personnel where required

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in the construction industry, preferably in demolition, with exposure to estimating processes and procedures an asset

- Well established understanding of construction materials, methods, and trade practices

- Proficiency in using estimating software and tools, excel

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, and task prioritization skills required

- Knowledge of contract administration and scheduling is an asset

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, and suppliers

Starting rate to be determined by level of experience
