Job summary

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience coupled with a degree in Construction Management or a related discipline. Job description

Position : Project Manager (heavy Industrial)

Duration : Full-Time

Salary : DOE

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Project Manager youll be responsible for end-to-end management of industrial construction projects across multiple contract formats (lump sum design-build cost-plus etc.). Youll ensure safe on-budget on-schedule delivery while maintaining strong client relationships and building team cohesion.

What You Bring :

Minimum 5 years of experience managing industrial or general construction projects ($5M$20M) within heavy industry and eartwork related projects

Diploma or Degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Strong understanding of construction scheduling cost control contract administration and risk management.

Familiarity with HeavyBid HeavyJob and other estimating / project tools is an asset.

Local subcontractor and supplier relationships in the Thompson-Okanagan area are an advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead all phases of project delivery including start-up scheduling procurement execution and closeout.

Oversee site conditions scope changes cost controls and client reporting.

Direct and mentor field teams including Project Coordinators Superintendents and Safety Advisors

Manage subcontractor relationships procurement and compliance.

Monitor and report on project financials change orders and invoicing.

Collaborate across departments and ensure safety quality and compliance standards are met.
