Westfine Meats Inc. is currently seeking a Full-Time On-site experienced Project Manager (Engineering) to join our team and lead new projects to enhance our production capabilities and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be well organized, have strong attention to detail, and be a self-motivated individual with experience handling multiple projects.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate efficiently with partners, clients and vendors to deliver projects according to plan
  • Accountable for leading efforts to drive continuous improvements with regards to engineering in the facility
  • Responsible for designing, execution, coordination and completion of projects/programs
  • Monitor project progress and work with the departments/staff
  • Ensure project transparency with timely and clear progress updates to senior management
  • Use available business intelligence tools to provide insight into project progression and action items
  • Assess and prioritize projects and processes opportunities and manage from start to completion
  • Improve the plant operation efficiencies of the plant
  • Communicate any risks, issues or delays to projects
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Overall technical site support for and guidance in troubleshooting
  • Other duties as required
What You Bring
  • Post-secondary education in related field & equivalent experience in a related role is preferred
  • 5+ years project management expertise with a track record of success
  • Food Manufacturing experience minimum 1 year
  • PMP is considered as an asset
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be open and flexible to change, take initiative and work with minimal supervision
  • Effective self-managing, good problem-solving skills, planning, organizing and priority setting skills
  • Demonstrated strong networking and interpersonal skills
  • Able to mentor and guide team members throughout the organization
