CMP (Charlottetown Metal Products) is a dynamic and growing stainless steel equipment manufacturer delivering design, fabrication, and installation services and turn‑key solutions to our food processing customers. As a division of FPS (Food Process Solutions), we serve customers across Canada, United States of America, and internationally. CMP and FPS are constantly innovating and contributing to more advanced hygienic designs to exceed client needs. We engineer food safety in everything we do. We are looking for an exemplary Project Manager who will oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of a portfolio of projects and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and requirements (technical, regulatory, and otherwise).

Key Responsibilities

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, requirements and deliverables.
• Understand and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Develop strong relationships with clients. This involves ensuring client satisfaction, managing their expectations, and resolving issues quickly.
• Continually assess and document project issues and risks and execute on appropriate action/mitigation plans.
• Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement, and document lessons learned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent.
• 3 years of project management experience in the food processing industry.
• Project Management Institute (PMI) Accreditation is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to approach technical problems from first principles.
• A keen understanding of business objectives, and the ability to adapt accordingly to dynamic timelines.
• Ability to travel to project sites in Canada and USA as needed (up to 25%).
