Our banking client in Calgary/Edmonton AB is seeking a Senior Transaction & Leasing Project Manager to drive lease deals and renewals with rigorous process control and executive‑ready reporting. Hybrid role based in Calgary/Edmonton, AB.

You will oversee 10-20 concurrently running mini-projects, coordinating between real estate leadership, legal counsel, brokers, landlords and cross‑functional teams to keep the pipeline on track and the master schedule current.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading projects with strong process discipline.
• Experience managing 10-20 concurrent leases/projects.
• Proven ability to produce executive-ready deliverables.
• Track record of identifying critical path dates 30–60 days out.
• Strong written and verbal communication with external partners.
• Familiarity with commercial real estate or leasing processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish standardized real estate and leasing project management practices across programs.
• Own master schedules and critical path milestones, including notice windows.
• Manage multiple lease deals/renewals from request to execution.
• Maintain accurate tracking sheets and IWMS data.
• Coordinate due diligence and synthesize recommendations for leadership.
• Oversee document control, executive status reports, and contract processes (DocuSign).
• Collaborate with real estate strategy, project delivery, construction, design, facilities and operations teams.

Job description

Our banking client is seeking a Senior Transaction & Leasing Project Manager to drive lease deals and renewals through the pipeline with strict process rigor and executive‑ready reporting (Hybrid, Calgary/Edmonton AB).

Overview

This role supports a strategic initiative to optimize a corporate and branch real estate portfolio of + leases. You will manage 10-20 concurrent mini‑projects, including new lease deals and renewals, and act as the central project engine between real estate leadership, legal counsel, brokers, landlords and cross‑functional teams.

Must-Haves

• 5+ years as a Project Manager, with strong process and project management leadership
• Experience managing 10-20 concurrent small projects or deals, owning the pipeline from start to finish with structured workflows and accurate master tracking
• Proven track record producing executive‑ready deliverables (decision memos, executive summaries, deal trackers, status reports) that are % accurate, properly formatted and free of errors
• Proven ability to track critical path dates 30-60 days ahead (notice windows, condition removals, renewals) and bring a recommended course of action, not an open question
• Experience enforcing deadlines and keeping external partners and cross‑functional stakeholders aligned, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with commercial real estate or leasing, including lease abstracts and term sheet summaries

Nice‑to‑Haves

• Experience working with brokers, landlords, legal counsel and vendors
• Experience overseeing document control and quality assurance of legal contracts (LOIs, lease agreements, amendments)
• Experience managing contract execution through DocuSign
• Experience with an IWMS (Integrated Workplace Management System) or similar tracking platform, and comfort learning a new one
• Experience working with brokers, landlords, legal counsel and vendors
