Job summary

Edon Management in Calgary seeks a results-driven Project Manager to lead complex construction projects across Alberta. You will manage scope, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations, ensuring outcomes that align with client needs and safety standards.

With extensive experience in commercial projects, you will mentor project teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and maintain documentation to Edon’s PM standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing construction projects from $5K to $20M.
• Post-secondary education in PM, engineering, architecture, or related field; PMP designation is an asset.
• Willingness to travel within Alberta; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects from initiation to closeout, including tenant improvements, capital work, maintenance, and renovations.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.
• Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and proactively manage risks and changes.
• Maintain accurate and consistent documentation in line with Edon’s Project Management standards.
• Lead and mentor project team members; coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Project Manager at Edon, you will lead and deliver construction projects with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Project Delivery

• Manage construction projects from initiation to closeout, including tenant improvements, capital work, maintenance, and renovations
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification
• Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and proactively manage risks and changes
• Maintain accurate and consistent documentation in line with Edon’s Project Management standards

Leadership & Coordination

• Lead and mentor project team members, including coordinators and support staff
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to drive project success
• Identify and address issues early to keep projects on track

Stakeholder & Site Management

• Build strong relationships with clients, property managers, consultants, and vendors
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements

Client Experience

• Provide clear, proactive communication to all stakeholders
• Manage expectations and resolve challenges professionally and efficiently
• Deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience across all projects

What You Bring

Experience & Education

• Proven experience managing construction projects ranging from $5K to $20M
• Experience with tenant improvements, capital projects, and maintenance work
• Post‑secondary education in project management, engineering, architecture, or a related field
• PMP designation is an asset

• Strong understanding of building systems and construction processes
• Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively
• Proficiency in interpreting drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Willingness to travel to project sites within Alberta as required
• Clear Criminal Record Check (EPIC) required prior to hire
