Job description

• Maintain U-Haul facilities to aid colleagues in providing the highest standard of service to customers
• Respond to facility needs promptly and efficiently
• Perform project work independently or collaborate on projects as needed
• Work around moving parts and machines for building and site maintenance while observing safety precautions
• Use tools and equipment for facility maintenance across applicable trades

Requirements

• Experience performing and utilizing tools and equipment in any of the following areas: carpentry, metal framing, painting, masonry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping
• Respond promptly and efficiently to facility needs
• Collaborate on projects or work alone as needed
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record to operate a motor vehicle
• Adhere to all local vehicular regulations while driving
• Observe necessary safety precautions while working around moving parts and machines for building and site maintenance
• Ability to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields when required
• Ability to remain stationary for long periods indoors and outdoors, traverse spaces, reposition to reach and use tools, and move a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted
