Job summary

FNHA is seeking a Project Lead, Health Services in Remote and Isolated Communities to support regional leadership through project management and a systemic review of health programs on Vancouver Island. The role requires coordinating with First Nations and formal tables to address regional needs.

The incumbent develops project scopes, engagement plans and detailed pathways, guiding initiatives from planning to outcomes in remote and isolated communities across the Island.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in related fields such as business, science, social services or healthcare.
• Recent and relevant project leadership experience (≈5 years) in First Nations health and wellness.
• Knowledge of First Nations culture, governance and remote community health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Supports regional leadership and teams through project management.
• Develops project scope statements, engagement plans and pathways.
• Leads overall project planning and regional needs assessment with First Nations engagement.
