This Position Reports To

Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Manage engineering activities for large industrial electrification projects, including switchgears, transformers, HVAC, and control systems.
• Technical Studies & Analysis: Conduct and validate studies like short-circuit, load flow, protection coordination, and arc flash.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Oversee technical coordination with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Design & Engineering: Develop layouts, evaluate heat losses, select HVAC units, and plan cable routing.
• Execution & Supervision: Monitor engineering changes, manage procurement, oversee installation, commissioning, and cost estimation.
  
  

What It Takes To Run What Runs The World

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years of related experience in the field of industrial electrification projects and Member of OIQ (or P.Eng. from other Canadian provinces).
• Knowledge of the electrical standards (ANSI, CSA, IEEE, UL and others) and software such as ETAP, SKM, ACAD, SmartPlant or Microstation
• Bilingual: French, English. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
• Availability to travel within Canada.
