Job description

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for machinery and layouts? This role is built for you!

Agilus is recruiting for a Project Engineer in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry in Windsor, Ontario.

A typical day:

1. Develop RFQ documents utilizing research and consultation with stakeholders to determine needs
2. Lead major repair activities at various manufacturing locations
3. Lead new equipment build, installation, and buyoff at various manufacturing locations
4. Update facility layouts as changes are made or new equipment is added
5. Develop and manage project timelines and open issue lists

Successful candidates will have:

• Mechanical and/or Electrical background capable of understanding any aspect of the above responsibilities
• Proficiency with AutoCad 2D
• The ability to travel across borders (USA)
• Experience in a stamping environment
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (UG NX)
• A four-year degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Engineering or equivalent experience (asset)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (asset)
• Experience developing budgets and project plans
