The Regional Municipality of Durham is seeking a Project Engineer (W/WW Infrastructure Design) to oversee municipal water supply and sanitary sewerage projects. You will coordinate design, project management, and consultants within Engineering Support Division, reporting to the division manager.
The incumbent will supervise junior engineers and students, prepare budgets and RFPs, and ensure compliance with MECP guidelines and Ontario statutes.

Reporting to the Manager of the Engineering Support Division, the purpose of the position is to administer engineering projects related to the areas of engineering studies, pilot projects and research, and the provision of technical advice in the matters related to the operation and design of regional water supply and sanitary sewerage systems.
The position is accountable for coordinating activity of junior engineers and students within Division, for engineering support in design and operation matters related to regional water and wastewater infrastructure, for development for terms of reference and project management for various water supply and sanitary sewerage projects and assignments.
