Job summary

Linxus Group in Edmonton is seeking a Project Engineer to manage client-driven projects from design through fabrication. You will coordinate design drafting, piping, instrumentation, electrical, control systems, and production activities to meet specs, deadlines and budgets.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project engineering, a relevant engineering degree, and near-licensure as a P.Eng. Proficiency in MS Office and teamwork tools is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Project Engineering.
• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent tech degree.
• P.Eng designation or actively pursuing licensure.
• Proficient in MS Office suite and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects to meet client specifications, deadlines and budget.
• Act as client liaison, review client specifications.
• Oversee detailed process / mechanical design.
• Coordinate and oversee various disciplines: design drafting, piping, instrumentation, electrical, control systems, mechanical & process engineering, production.
• Requisition of major equipment.
• Drawing submittals to fabrication shop and client.
• Monitor fabrication / construction and rectify any problems.
