Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects related to facilities infrastructure. This role will involve coordinating with multiple stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving projects from conception to completion within budget and schedule constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage facilities construction projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance with all codes and standards.
  • Review and approve construction designs, plans, and specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee quality control processes to ensure adherence to design and safety requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts for construction challenges and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Ensure proper adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Support procurement activities, including reviewing vendor contracts and selecting appropriate materials and services.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project team members.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or PMP certification preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project engineering, with a focus on facilities infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or Primavera P6.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
