Title: Project Developer

Salary: $88,948 - $104,644 - $120,341 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours (core hours Mon-Fri 9am-3pm)

Location: Syilx or Secwépemc (West Kelowna or Kamloops, BC) – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy).

About The Role

As the Project Developer, you will support First Nations health and wellness by supporting the development of local and regional projects within Health Emergency Management and Toxic Drug frameworks. This role works in collaboration with the FNHA Interior Region Operations Specialist and Toxic Drug Specialist, First Nations communities, health partners, and regional leadership. As well, this role provides project coordination, planning, and strategic advice to support culturally safe and community-driven health initiatives. Additionally, this role builds strong partnerships, participates in engagement processes, and contributes to regional health system planning. Furthermore, this role provides mentorship and guidance to junior project developers as a senior member of the team.

About You

Education

  • University Degree in a related field such as health policy, public policy, health systems management, political or social science, finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

  • Recent and relevant experience in policy, project, or program development, (usually acquired over a period of 5-7 years).
  • Experience in working successfully with First Nations and First Nations health programs and services.
  • Experience providing management and leadership to team is an asset.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours. Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
