Job summary

ISG Search Inc is seeking a Design Specialist to design and develop architectural facade, window, and railing systems using AutoCAD and 3D design software. You will create detailed shop, fabrication, and installation drawings and support projects from concept through manufacturing.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology or related field and 10+ years of design experience in facade systems. In-office, full-time with occasional site visits and limited travel.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD with ability to produce detailed drawings.
• Experience with 3D modeling or BIM tools is an asset.
• Strong understanding of facade systems and detailing.

• Provide technical support and guidance on facade and architectural systems.
• Maintain drawing revisions, document control, and engineering records.

Design Specialist

Responsibilities

• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD; experience with Inventor or other 3D modeling software is an asset.
• Experience producing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation packages.
• Manufacturing or fabrication environment experience is considered an asset.
• Strong understanding of facade systems, construction detailing, and installation methods.

Work Environment

• Full-time, in-office role.
• Occasional site visits requiring PPE.
• Limited travel as required.
