Job summary

Recruit Shop Pty Ltd in British Columbia is seeking an experienced Architectural Technical Manager to design and deliver energy-efficient window and door systems for building projects. You will create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, help staff and customers choose products, and manage quotes, orders, and compliance documentation.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in the building industry, can read drawings, and are proficient in AutoCAD (2D) and SolidWorks/Inventor (3D) with strong technical

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' industry experience in the building industry or industrial design.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret architectural drawings and reports.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a valid Driver's Licence.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and SolidWorks/Inventor (3D), with strong technical and modelling capabilities.
• Experience in technical writing, with the ability to create, update, and maintain clear technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for windows, doors, and building façade systems.
• Helping staff and customers choose the right products, resolve issues, and answer technical questions.
• Managing quotes, orders, and test results; organising and summarising product compliance documentation.
