Who are we looking for? The Project Cost Controller will be responsible for managing project costs on one or multiple projects for Rail and Transit. This position can be located in our Mississauga & Waterloo offices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Experience in cost control within a design environment
• Knowledge of cost control processes across various project types
• Developing and managing project metrics like earned value, CPI, SPI
• Understanding project controls in a design setting

Reporting duties:

• Support weekly and monthly report preparation

Cost control tasks:

• Develop baseline budgets with the project team
• Coordinate updates to control budgets, cost reports, and forecasts
• Maximize revenue opportunities through systematic processes
• Document and update risks, contingencies, and escalation allowances
• Prepare cash flow projections and manage working capital
• Track all time and cost changes affecting project performance

Qualifications include:

• Experience managing projects in a DB/P3 environment
• Experience working within a JV
• Proficiency with data analytics and enterprise software
• Minimum of 5 years in project controls in a design environment
• Ability to manage project cost reporting and dashboards
• Hands-on approach to cost control functions
