Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Port Colborne, ON is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator to support cost and schedule performance on active projects. You will collaborate with owners, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and change control.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in engineering.
• 2–5 years of project controls or similar experience in a general contractor environment.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI.
• Must be able to work on site in Port Colborne, Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Fundamental understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to measure actual project performance against a baseline (cost and schedule).
• Support change management by liaising with the owner, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with prime billing, subcontractor billing, and PO processes.
• Support owner cost reporting and cash flow preparation/updates.
• Create a WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) with Project Managers and SMEs.
• Analyze processes, optimize them, and build systems to support those processes.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and traceability of project controls data within the systems.
