Job summary

Newcomer Women's Services Toronto seeks a Project Coordinator to support a multi-stakeholder systems change project in the North York area. You will coordinate outreach, research, stakeholder engagement, regional networks, events, recruitment, data collection and reporting.

The role works with community partners, service providers and participants to identify barriers and advance project outcomes, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in all activities.

Qualifications

  • A degree in social sciences, community development, project management, public policy or a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience coordinating community, research, nonprofit or multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Experience with stakeholder outreach, event planning, facilitation and participant recruitment.
  • Strong research, data analysis, report-writing and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, virtual meeting platforms, survey tools and databases.
  • Experience with systems change, settlement, workforce development or government-funded projects is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities, timelines, meetings, deliverables and documentation.
  • Conduct research, environmental scans, interviews, surveys and consultations.
  • Collect, organize and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Prepare progress reports, research summaries, presentations and project updates.
  • Develop project tools, templates, guides, training materials and communication resources.
  • Track participation, activities, outcomes, risks and follow-up actions.
  • Conduct outreach and maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners and regional networks.
  • Recruit participants for consultations, research, workshops, training sessions and events.
  • Plan and coordinate regional meetings, conferences, summits and stakeholder consultations.
  • Facilitate or support meetings, focus groups, workshops and training sessions.
  • Support advisory committees, working groups and communities of practice.
  • Ensure project activities are inclusive, accessible and aligned with funder and organizational requirements.

The Project Coordinator supports the planning, implementation and evaluation of a multi-stakeholder systems change project. The role coordinates outreach, research, stakeholder engagement, regional networks, events, participant recruitment, data collection and reporting.

The Coordinator works closely with community partners, service providers, participants, consultants and other stakeholders to support collaboration, identify systemic barriers and advance project outcomes.
