An exciting opportunity to join the Combina Global team as a Project Coordinator/Estimator supporting end-to-end project delivery by preparing accurate tenders, performing detailed quantity take-offs, and assisting in budget development across multiple interior finishings product categories. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure pricing competitiveness and provide ongoing support to Project Managers through bid submissions, change orders, and cost control measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate and competitive tenders.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for a comprehensive range of products, such as window coverings, flooring, and plumbing fixtures.
- Review shop drawings and perform detailed quantity take-offs to support labour cost estimates.
- Organize and evaluate drawing and specification details for project planning and execution.
- Assist in developing project budgets for review by Project Managers and the Management Team.
- Prepare bid proposals following company standards and templates.
- Follow up with clients on submitted tenders and respond to inquiries.
- Maintain and update project data within Procore project management software.
- Support Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze cost revisions to maintain project margins.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure competitive pricing.
- Assist in preparing and managing change orders for timely client approval.
- Monitor quality control issues related to products and installation, documenting and addressing concerns.
- Review and manage service requests to ensure timely resolution of warrantable defects.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in construction estimating and/or project coordination (subcontractor or general contractor).
- Knowledge of local building codes, industry standards, and permits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore is an asset.
- Experience working with construction trades, vendors, and site teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
