ATS Traffic is seeking a Project Coordinator in Edmonton, AB to join our Corporate team. You will collaborate with Estimating on tender documents, develop estimates, review bids, and coordinate installation projects with internal teams and clients to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of related experience, a Civil/Construction Engineering degree (or diploma), and familiarity with Revu BlueBeam plus Microsoft Office.

Qualificações

• 1–3 years experience is an asset.
• Civil/Construction Engineering degree or diploma required; similar considered.
• Construction Management/Project Management certificate a bonus.
• Read, understand, and interpret engineering documents.
• Knowledge of Revu BlueBeam is preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Class 5 non-GDL license with clean driving record required.

Responsabilidades

• Estimate & tender support: review documents and prepare cost estimates.
• Bid review & proposal development with Sales and Estimating teams.
• Coordinate installation projects with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Prepare material take-offs, coordinate procurement, ensure material availability.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and provide schedule/cost updates.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.
• Handle monthly invoicing and support financial reporting.
• Conduct earned value analysis and identify variances for action.
• Lead lessons-learned sessions and propose future improvements.

Responsibilities

• Estimating & Tender Support : Collaborate with the Estimating Team to review tender documents, interpret project scopes, specifications, and schedules, and develop accurate quantity take-offs and estimates of direct and indirect costs.
• Bid Review & Proposal Development: Participate in bid review meetings with Sales and Estimating teams to ensure proposals accurately reflect project requirements, pricing, scope of work, assumptions, and inclusions/exclusions.
• Project Coordination & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for installation projects, coordinating with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely project execution.
• Project Planning & Materials Management: Prepare accurate material take-offs, coordinate procurement, and ensure materials and resources are available to meet project schedules and requirements.
• Project Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, identify potential risks or delays, proactively resolve issues, and provide regular updates on schedules, costs, billing, and financial forecasts to our internal stakeholders.
• Supplier & Subcontractor Coordination: Engage with third-party suppliers and subcontractors to source materials, equipment rentals, and other services, ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelines.
• Project Billing & Financial Administration: Attend monthly internal invoicing, prepare and submit progress billing statements, and support accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Project Performance Analysis: Conduct monthly earned value analysis, monitor project costs and performance against budgets, and identify variances and opportunities for corrective action.
• Continuous Improvement: Facilitate lessons-learned sessions upon project completion, document key findings, and recommend improvements to enhance future project delivery.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1-3 years previous experience is an asset.
• Completion of a Civil/Construction Engineering Degree or Diploma. Similar can be also considered.
• A related certificate, diploma or degree in Construction Management or Project Management is a bonus!
• Must be able to read, understand and interpret engineering documents.
• Working knowledge of Revu BlueBeam
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Class 5 Non-GDL Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract is required.
