Job summary

HDR is seeking a Project Coordinator to support Project Managers and the WaterBusiness Group. The role encompasses a range of administrative tasks, cost development assistance, data entry, and project documentation oversight across multiple deliverables.

The successful candidate will have an associate degree (or equivalent) with at least one year of related experience, plus strong skills in Word and Excel, and a mindset aligned with HDR's employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 1 year related experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • An active participant in our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for a wide variety of specialized project-related administrative functions in support of our Project Managers and business group leadership.
  • Assist Project Managers with project cost development and approvals.
  • Analysis and reporting for project control duties including cost estimation, earned value management, and schedule tracking.
  • Input project data into internal data systems.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of project management, quality, and safety plans.
  • Develop and coordinate contracts, subcontracts, and related signatures.
  • Organize and schedule meetings and project reviews.
  • Prepare and format technical deliverables and change orders.

In the role of Project Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

  • Take responsibility for a wide variety of specialized project-related administrative functions in support of our Project Managers and business group leadership.
  • Assist Project Managers with project cost development and approvals.
  • Analysis and reporting associated with various project control job duties such as agreements, cost control, cost estimation, earned value management (EVM), projections variance analysis, schedules, workload staffing, and technical project reviews.
  • Input project data into internal data systems
  • Assist Project Managers and task leaders with the development and maintenance of project management plans, quality management plans, safety plans, internal schedules, and other project guidance documents.
  • Apply company quality assurance guidelines and procedures for project document management.
  • Development of contracts and subcontracts.Coordinating reviews and signatures.
  • Order and monitor insurance certificates.
  • Create and manage project documents and files.
  • Schedule and participate in Project Reviews.
  • Word, processing, editing, formatting and proofreading of technical deliverables and project change orders or letter proposals.
  • Work with HDR task leads and team members to organize and track internal HDR deliverables including reminders and coordination with leads on schedule tracking.
  • Organize and schedule meetings.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
