We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Lethbridge team in the successful execution of civil infrastructure and construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to manage project schedules, resources, and communication between teams, subcontractors, and clients to strive to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
- Collaborate with the project manager to assist in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for earthworks and underground utilities construction projects.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve issues, provide updates, and ensure project requirements are met.
- Track project progress, conduct regular site visits, and update project stakeholders on milestones, potential delays, and changes.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and quality of work to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all project activities, including invoices, time sheets, and vendor documentation.
- Assist in resolving any project-related issues or conflicts, escalating to senior management as necessary.
- Ensure compliance and monitor employee compliance with Whissell and local Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment regulations and standards
- Position is based on a 40-hour workweek, additional hours may be required during peak construction months.

Qualifications
- A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology required.
- Registration with APEGA or ASET is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in construction project coordination / management.
- Job site experience in heavy construction, micro-tunnel construction in rock, soft ground and mixed conditions and renewable energy including wind and solar construction.
- The ability to work with a wide variety of construction trades, engineers, inspectors, owners, and utility representatives.
- Proficiency in computer software in everyday use in construction : Word, Excel, MS Project Manger, CAD, Adobe.
- Proficiency in B2W unified software, including, B2W Estimate, Schedule, Track and Maintain.
- Demonstrated experience reading and understanding blueprints, specifications, schedules and costing reports.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of construction process, environmental regulations, design, and constructability.
- Exceptional communication skills to efficiently interact with employees, clients, authorities and maintain clear and concise site documentation.
- A valid driver’s license to go to job sites away from public transit.
