Young’s Industrial is a refrigeration and fabrication company committed to providing our customers with exceptional work and service. Our Come By Chance location is looking for an enthusiastic mechanical project coordinator to join our team. This person will work with our Project Managers and supervisors to bid, estimate, and coordinate jobs and projects. They will be required to follow quality and safety regulations while delivering results in a timely manner. This position is for someone with great attention to detail, good communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Estimate preparation for costs of labour, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to produce final tender submissions.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, materials, and documentation to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Monitor and verify staff hours, ensuring timesheets are complete and accurate for payroll processing.
  • Review scope of work and manage coordination of drawings, RFIs, and instructions.
  • Monitor and support the purchase order process.
  • Ensure billing documentation is delivered to the accounting department accurately and on time.
  • Assist with daily administrative functions and technical office support.

Education:

  • Engineering Technology Diploma or Engineering degree considered an asset.

Experience:

  • Planning and scheduling experience considered an asset.
  • Experience with quality assurance.
  • Estimating experience.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
