Job summary

EllisDon is seeking a Security Coordinator in Halifax, Canada, for a full-time position with a wage rate of CA$27.70 per hour. The role involves obtaining and maintaining PSPC/CSP clearance and ACSO duties, ensuring security plan compliance and handling sensitive assets.

You will collaborate with client and ED standards while supporting subcontractor sponsorship processes. The role requires strong teamwork, a willingness to learn new regulations, and the ability to manage access and security

Responsibilities

• Obtain/maintain PSPC and CSP clearance.
• Maintain ACSO role with PSPC where required.
• Oversee daily security to ensure site security plan compliance.
• Assist with control procedures for sensitive/protected/classified assets.
• Provide briefings and keep records per client and ED requirements and standards.
• Assist in creating PSOS forms for subcontractor sponsorship.
• Assist with creating and maintaining SRCLs for PSPC submission.
• Work with client forms for personnel clearance and site access.
• Manage and maintain the site security access list.

• Obtain/maintain appropriate clearance through Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Contract Security Program (CSP).
• Obtain/maintain ACSO role with PSPC where required.
• Responsible for daily oversight to ensure compliance to the site security plan; escape as required.
• Assist with control procedures of sensitive/protected/classified assets (Receive, log, and track/transmit sensitive/protected/classified information and assets).
• Provide briefings and keep records according to both client and ED requirements and standards.
• Assist in the creation of PSOS forms for sponsorship of Subcontractors’.
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of SRCL’s for submission to PSPC.
• Work with client forms for personnel clearance and site access.
• Manage all aspects of access and maintain security access list for the site.
