Job summary

EBC Inc. in Canada seeks a Project Coordinator to support major infrastructure programs in Delta. You will read technical specifications, inspect daily work against standards, and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and the client to keep projects on track.

The role requires a technical background with accreditation and at least five years in heavy civil settings, plus strong scheduling and cost-tracking skills. Extensive travel and a robust benefits package are included.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
  • Technical background with professional accreditation (P.Eng./ CET) or combination of technical training and related experience.
  • Experience in contracting industry (heavy civil preferred).
  • Read, analyze, and interpret technical design drawings.
  • Scheduling experience and analysis skills.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Written and oral communications.
  • Cost analysis, control, and reporting.
  • Contracts – Commercial knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Read technical and administrative project specifications.

  • Order critical material with suppliers with the Job Superintendent.
  • Perform quantity tracking and cost coding for productivity analysis.
  • Prepare daily reports on crew progress and issues.
  • Assist in preparing final records, including as-builts.
  • Organize and participate in meetings.
  • Establish communications between suppliers, sub-contractors, professionals and client.
  • Assist in field duties at the job site; extensive traveling expected.

As a Project Coordinator at EBC you will:

  • Read technical and administrative project specifications;

  • Order critical material with suppliers in collaboration with the Job Superintendent;
  • Perform quantity tracking and cost coding for purposes of productivity analysis and accurate job cost forecasting;
  • Prepare daily reports as related to the crew, progress and issues;
  • Assist in the preparation of final records for the project, including as-builts;
  • Organize and participate in various meetings;
  • Establish and keep necessary communications between suppliers, sub-contractors, professionals and client;
  • Assist in carrying out a variety of field duties at the job site related to project;
  • Extensive travelling is to be expected.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience.

In accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation, EBC Inc. has included the expected salary range for this role, which is $60,000 - $100,000. Compensation within the range is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, localization, and internal equity. Base salary is one component of EBC’s comprehensive total rewards offering, which may include performance-based incentives, extended health and wellness benefits, retirement savings programs, and career development opportunities.
