Job Focus

As a Project Coordinator, you will be fully responsible for leading and managing the execution of telecommunications projects from inception to completion. This includes coordinating teams, managing resources, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring all project milestones are met. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring successful project delivery, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of telecommunications projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Manage project from start to finish
  • Work with relevant parties to define and document the project's scope, goals, deliverables, risks, constraints, success criteria, and estimated resource requirements.
  • Creates, oversees, and shares detailed project plans, including metrics, staffing and schedules
  • Work with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal managers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Schedule and Dispatch sub-contractors and internal staff to meet project requirements.
  • Provides clear guidance to the teams and resolves conflicts
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to clients and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project reporting to ensure profitability and to ensure financial controls are maintained
  • Creating and completing deposit invoices and completion invoices
  • Tracking and entering expenses for each project
  • Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Provides post-implementation support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in Telecommunications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in project management. Within the telecommunications industry, considered an asset
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and technologies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with various managers
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification.
  • Working knowledge of ConnectWise or similar platform considered an asset
