Project Coordinator - Construction & Restoration - BARRIE ON

First Onsite is hiring a full-time Project Coordinator to be the organizational powerhouse behind our construction and restoration projects. From kickoff to closeout-and all the details in between-you'll manage job files, keep things moving, and help ensure every project wraps up smoothly (and paid in full!) with professionalism and FUN.

A Day in the Life of a Project Coordinator

As a Project Coordinator at First Onsite, you're the ultimate multitasker-keeping projects running like a well-oiled machine. You support one or more Project Managers with everything from estimates and documentation to timelines and communication.

Your day involves juggling schedules, tracking files in ClaimTrak and Xactimate, liaising with insurance companies and adjusters, and ensuring no detail slips through the cracks. You work closely with the Office Manager and PMs to keep things smooth, on time, and on budget.

Whether it's preparing reports, updating stakeholders, or coordinating the moving parts of multiple jobs, you're the calm in the storm-and the reason projects get done right.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project-related software including Xactimate, and XactAnalysis

  • Strong typing skills

  • Solid foundation in administrative tasks and basic accounting math, with exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills-confident working with clients, vendors, and insurance professionals

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure, prioritize tasks, and support multiple Project Managers in a fast-paced environment

  • Preferred: Experience in construction, restoration, insurance, or property claims industries

  • The ability to pass a background check
