Victor Energy Ltd. is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead the project controls team reporting to the Director of Projects.

The role focuses on establishing schedules, budgets and performance metrics across project lifecycles and driving improvements in reporting, cost efficiency, cash flow and risk management. You will mentor staff, develop standards, and collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate planning and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
• A master's degree or equivalent experience is considered an asset.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project controls within construction/engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, project controls principles, and practices.
• Proficiency in project management software, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across levels.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strategic mindset.
• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar credentials is considered a significant advantage.

This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. The Project Controls Manager will work closely with project stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for improving project reporting, cost efficiency, cashflow, and risk management.
