Reporting to the CFO, the Project Controller will be responsible for investment planning, including monthly and annual forecasts, budgets, and 5-year planning.
This is a flex hybrid model, requiring a minimum of 2 days in the St. Thomas office.
How You Will CELLebrate
- Create project structures in the SAP-based ERP system.
- Organize weekly investment release committee meetings.
- Prepare deviation analyses, track project deliverables, and provide progress reports to support management decisions.
- Participate in preparing VW internal committee presentations.
- Assist in setting up internal investment controlling systems for future locations.
- Contribute to developing the control concept for the Gigafactory in St. Thomas, ON, and provide data for financial planning.
- Develop and monitor forecasts, assessing risks and opportunities, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Maintain the budget process, coordinate with departments, and ensure strategic and spending goals are met.
- Provide financial expertise to leadership and operational teams.
- Develop and monitor KPIs.
- Prepare operational investment performance reports for executive review.
- Brief the CFO on decision topics and provide analytical recommendations.
What You Need For Our CELLebration
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial performance indicators.
- 3+ years of professional controlling experience.

- 2+ years’ hands-on SAP experience.
