Job summary

Plutonic Search Group in Toronto is seeking a project controls expert to drive accuracy and insight across planning, scheduling, and cost management. The role keeps critical projects on track and helps shape the company’s project controls standards for the future.

You will oversee cost control across multiple projects, build schedules, forecasts and cost reports, and deliver dashboards and earned value analyses for management updates. Collaboration with engineering and procurement is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ project controls or related experience in mining, industrial, EPCM, or similar environments.
• Strong experience with project cost controls, scheduling and planning.
• Proven ability to prepare detailed estimates, reports, and project analytics
• Advanced skills in Excel and MS Office; working knowledge of scheduling and reporting tools (Primavera, MS Project, Power BI, etc.)
• Analytical mindset, organizational strength, and clear communication.
• Interest in digital transformation and continuous improvement
