Job summary

Geosam Capital in Laval, QC, is seeking a Project Portfolio Coordinator to support the design and improvement of processes, methods, and tools related to the management of strategic projects and programs in the Engineering Department.

You will participate in planning, execution, and control to deliver projects on time and within budget, while producing monthly reports and maintaining real-time portfolio status for stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree and five years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in administration or relevant field.
  • Five years of experience including management of construction projects and/or portfolio management.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel (advanced), MS-Project; Power BI is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support design and improvement of processes, methods, and tools for project management.
  • Participate in planning, execution, and control to deliver projects on time and within budget.

SCHEDULE: DAY; MONDAY to FRIDAY - 08:30 to 16:30

WORKING MODE: Hybrid

WORK LOCATION: Engineering Department, 1333 CHOMEDEY BLVD OFFICE 801 A/S ENGINEERING, LAVAL H7V 3Y1

The challenges that await you

Under the authority of the immediate supervisor, you are responsible for supporting various stakeholders in the design and improvement of processes, methods, and tools related to the management of strategic projects and/or programs of the Department. You participate in the planning, execution, and control of projects to deliver them on time and within established budgets.

You ensure the performance of the Department's project portfolio by producing monthly reports on the situation. You maintain an overview of the various projects and programs and provide an accurate real-time picture to different stakeholders according to their needs and level of involvement.

The ideal profile for us
  • Hold a bachelor\'s degree in administration or any other relevant bachelor\'s degree;
  • Have five (5) years of experience including:
    • management of construction projects and/or portfolio management;
    • project cost control;
  • Proficiency in computer tools such as Word, Excel (advanced level), MS-Project, and Project Management;
  • Knowledge of Power BI software is an asset.
