Job summary

BluMetric Environmental Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented project accountant to oversee the financial management of projects from setup to closure, ensuring IFRS 15 compliance and alignment with internal controls.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting or related field with strong accounting knowledge.
4+ years of accounting experience in project-based environments.
Proficiency with IFRS 15 and revenue recognition is an asset.

Responsibilities

Manage project accounting including setup in the accounting system and IFRS 15 compliance.
Collaborate with Project Managers to generate accurate customer invoices.
Perform month-end and quarter-end close, and prepare journal entries and schedules.
Monitor work-in-progress, budgets, provisions, and percentage of completion.
Support continuous process improvements in project accounting.
Provide strong customer service to internal partners and staff.
