Job summary

Amico is seeking a Project Accountant to support the Elevated Guideways and Stations Contract for the Ontario Line. The role covers full-cycle project accounting, including payables, receivables, accruals, monthly close, and financial reporting to monitor costs, revenues, and cash flow.

As part of the Finance and Commercial team, you will ensure adherence to budgets and internal controls, work with ACCIONA and Amico stakeholders, and help deliver infrastructure milestones in Ontario.

The Project Accountant will support the the Elevated Guideways and Stations Contract (“EGS”) of The Ontario Line ("OL"). The Primary Construction Team for this project consists of ACCIONA Infrastructure Canada Inc. (ACCIONA) and Amico Major Projects Inc. (Amico), as Trillium Guideway Partners (TGP)""

As a member of the project’s Finance and Commercial team, the Project Accountant is responsible for all aspects of financial management and reporting. This role manages full-cycle project accounting, including payables, receivables, tax filings, accruals, and month-end and year-end close. The Project Accountant prepares monthly financial reports, monitors costs, revenues, and cash flow, and ensures compliance with budgets, accounting standards, and internal controls.
