Job summary

Lycopodium is seeking a Project Accountant to join the Project Controls team in Mississauga, Ontario. The role involves maintaining and reporting costs to match project budgets, and collaborating with Procurement, Project Controls, and Vendors.

The successful candidate will input budgets, process invoices, and handle cash calls and payments, with opportunities for professional growth in a global engineering services environment.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in an Accounting discipline, or equivalent work experience of 3+ years.
• Project Accounting experience within Construction Industry.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

Lycopodium is looking for a Project Accountant to join our growing Project Controls team in Mississauga, ON.

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager the Project Accountant will ensure the maintenance and reporting of committed, expended and forecast costs to complete against project budgets. The Project Accountant will also work closely with Procurement, Project Controls and Vendors and Suppliers

The tasks you'll perform

• Input control budget at commencement of project
• Generate and process invoice approval forms and maintain relevant registers
• Preparation and transmittal of cash calls and payment runs

The expertise you'll bring

• Qualifications in an Accounting discipline, or equivalent work experience of 3+ years
• Project Accounting experience within Construction Industry
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP

The expected salary range for this role is $60,000 to $75,000.This range is based on the role’s job family andlevel and reflects a good faith estimate for the role at the time of posting.Your final offer will depend on factorssuch as market conditions, internal equity and candidateexperience,skills,andqualifications relevant to the role.We believe in fair,competitivepay that reflects the valueyoubring to the team.
