Job summary

Paramount in Halifax is seeking a Project Accountant to join The Lawen Group Finance team, acting as the financial link to Dexel Developments' active construction projects. You will work with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, and project teams to ensure accurate costing, visible budgets, and clear financial storytelling for our builds.

• CPA designation an asset.
• 5+ years in construction or project accounting.
• Accounting, Business or Construction education.
• Construction draw experience.

• Own project job costing.
• Track budgets vs. actuals.

What You Will Do

As part of the Lawen Group Finance team, the Project Accountant is the financial connection to Dexel Developments' active construction projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Superintendents and project teams, you'll keep a finger on the financial pulse of our developments, making sure project costs are captured accurately, budgets stay visible and the numbers behind our builds tell the right story.

  Head Office based but connected directly to the action on our construction sites. You'll spend much of your day working in project accounting systems, spreadsheets and financial records, while staying closely connected with Project Managers and site teams.
