Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support financial planning and reporting for multiple projects. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile cost reports, and analyze project pay forms to ensure on-schedule delivery of accurate data.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in construction accounting, strong organizational skills, and solid communication abilities. Bachelor's degree preferred; we offer comprehensive compensation and opportunities to contribute to project

Responsibilities

• Prepare project journal entries and reconcile cost reports for one or more projects.
• Compile and analyze project pay forms to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.
• Track insurance and bond information for all subcontractors.
• Assist in month end closing, budget revisions, and cost reallocations as directed by project team.
• Set up cost codes and cost types for project needs.
• Support field personnel timecard entry, certified payroll and reporting as needed.
• Enter equipment time entry and reconcile equipment accruals for project needs.
• Support accounts payable and onsite invoice entry to track project expenses and payments. Works with project personnel to expedite payment and resolves issues.

As a Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role in preparing and analyzing financial data, ensuring the financial health of our projects. You will collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to contribute to insightful financial reporting but also drive the success of our projects.

What you will be doing
