The Canadian Academy is seeking a Programming Assistant with a background in arts administration, communications, programming and/or box office tasks, to assist the Programming & Awards Department in processing Canadian Screen Award show materials, box office administration and membership voting for the 2027 Canadian Screen Awards, as well as related production tasks for Canadian Screen Week events. These positions require individuals who work well under pressure, have excellent attention to detail, strong writing and communication skills, and who excel at setting priorities, multitasking, and meeting tight deadlines.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. A commitment of 40 hours/week is required. Evening and overtime are required for special events throughout the year and during Canadian Screen Week and its lead-up. At this time, Canadian Academy staff members are working full-time remotely from home, but will be required to assist with in-office tasks and attend in-person events when needed.
$800/week
