Job description

Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring a Programmer Analyst on a temporary basis (up to 8 months) on our Information Technology team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Regina, SK.

What you’ll do:

• You will assist senior members of the CRC Applications Team in conjunction with other appropriate departments to build, acquire, maintain, and support solutions that support organizational requirements.
• You will support the daily usage of various applications for a diverse set of user groups.
• You will work with the direction of the Senior Refinery IT Systems Analysts to develop, test, and implement application enhancements.
• You will work on new application development through various platforms, including Visual Studio and Outsystems.
• You have a passion for a great user experience and delivery of valuable software and functionality.
• Other duties as required.

Who you’ll work with:

The Team: You will work closely with other Programmer Analysts and will report into the Manager, CRC Applications. This team strives to cultivate a culture of support, creativity, and collaboration.

The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Innovation business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Manufacturing.

Who you are:

• You are looking for a career in Information Technology and have a University Degree with a major or minor in Computer Science or completion of a two- or three-year Computer Program at a recognized technical or vocational institute along with related experience.
• You’re familiar with Systems Administration.

What we offer:

• A wage range of $47.95-$66.94 per hour depending on combination of education and years of experience as per the collective bargaining agreement of UNIFOR 594.
• A working schedule of Monday to Friday with every other Friday off.
