AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Planner/Scheduler to join our growing team. This position reports to the Program Controls Director. The Planner/Scheduler will manage project schedules, ensuring accurate, realistic, and logical planning throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include evaluating schedule impacts from proposed changes, identifying schedule conflicts, and maintaining integration with the master program schedule.

This role is based in Toronto, ON.

Your role within the team:

• Manage the submission of project schedules from contractors and consultants, conducting critical reviews for accuracy, realism, and logic.
• Evaluate schedule impacts of proposed changes in accordance with contract terms.
• Identify potential and actual schedule conflicts and collaborate with project teams to resolve them.
• Maintain client-level schedules and work with other schedulers to align and integrate schedule interfaces into the master program schedule.
• Provide schedule reports and critical path analysis as per reporting requirements.
• Conduct schedule quality assurance and peer reviews.
• Support QSRA processes and collaborate with Risk and Cost Managers to coordinate inputs.

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Senior Scheduler and at least 5 years as an Intermediate Scheduler, preferably in large-scale international airport infrastructure projects.
• A degree in engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and experience creating complex Work Breakdown Structures and integrating multiple schedules.
• Familiarity with schedule quality assurance tools (e.g., Acumen Fuse) and experience in Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA); contracting experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and experience leading scheduling workshops and planning sessions, including collaboration with contractors.
