Paymentus in Canada (Richmond Hill) seeks a Senior Merchant Services Specialist to drive EMV implementations, onboard partners, and support gateway configurations. You will coordinate with sales, finance, and support teams to ensure smooth launches and accurate pricing, while maintaining strong client relationships.

A background in SMB merchant services, channel or software/hardware resales, and knowledge of interchange pricing are essential.

Formación

• 3+ years of SMB merchant services experience.
• Direct experience in merchant sales or channel sales for software/hardware resellers.
• Direct exposure to leading EMV devices such as Ingenico, Verifone, FirstData, Magtek, PAX.
• Ability to manage an active pipeline.
• Interchange pricing expert knowledge.
• Excellent people and internal relationship management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Self-starter; able to work with minimal direction.

Responsabilidades

• Create and implement processes for new partner launches.
• Clearly communicate and assist internal teams in selling and supporting EMV terminals.
• Assist onboarding and configuration on gateway and Paymentus platforms.
• Manage internal and third-party gateway tools.
• Work closely with Sales and Account Management on selling strategies.
• Support incoming EMV demand for clients.
• Coordinate EMV integration requirements with Gateways and processors.
• Provide first-level customer support.
• Procurement and distribution of EMV devices across gateways.
• Work with Finance on reconciliation.
• Set expectations internally and externally.

Descripción del empleo

• Create and implement processes and procedures (new partner launches)
• Clearly communicate and assist internal teams in selling and supporting EMV terminals
• High ability to execute and continually work in a training and development role
• Ability to have a complex payment / hardware / software conversation with Gateway partners and Payments processors.
• Supporting onboarding and implementation teams with proper configurations on the gateway and payment processor as well as Paymentus platforms
• Manage all internal and third-party (gateway) tools
• Work Closely with Sales and Account management teams to understand selling strategies
• Actively work an incoming pipeline of growing EMV demand for our clients
• Understand, communicate, and continue to assist in the evolution of EMV integrations
• Coordinate with Sales leadership and Business Development Executives on facilitation of new EMV requirements
• Manage the early relationship of the gateways to ensure early adoption of EMV hardware/technology
• Provide first level support for customer reported issues
• Procurement and distribution of EMV devices across multiple gateways
• Works closely with finance team on reconciliation
• Set appropriate expectations internally and externally

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility.

Education and Experience

• 3+ years of experience as in SMB Merchant Services
• Direct experience in Merchant Sales or Channel Sales for software/hardware resellers
• Direct exposure to leading EMV devices such as Ingenico, Verifone, FirstData, Magtek, PAX
• Ability to manage an active pipeline
• Required knowledge as InterChange Pricing Expert
• Excellent people and internal relationship management skills
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Self-starter, must be able to work with minimal direction

Salary Range 100k-125k

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Physical Demands

This position requires sitting or standing at a computer desk for extended periods of time. In addition, the employee must regularly bend, reach, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

0% - 5% travel may be required.
