MHIRJ is the merger of two significant legacies: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and the CRJ Series program. We provide end-to-end operations, engineering and customer support solutions, including maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, and worldwide regional aircraft sales and marketing activities.

Position Summary

We are seeking a candidate to lead the implementation and enterprise‑scale deployment of artificial intelligence initiatives. This role requires a unique combination of program management expertise, understanding of AI/technology, and in-depth knowledge of the operations, processes and data environment of an aviation services organization. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business strategy, data/AI teams and technology delivery (internal and external), ensuring AI solutions are aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Leverage deep understanding of business processes, data assets and value levers to identify high‑impact AI use cases.
• Translate business needs into concrete, actionable AI programs and roadmaps.
• Lead the planning, execution and delivery of multi‑stream AI programs.
• Collaborate with vendors and government bodies such as Scale AI to support project delivery.
• Manage timelines, dependencies, risks and budgets across streams to ensure initiative success.
• Coordinate across cross‑functional teams (data enablement, IT enablement, vendors, business units).
• Identify integration points between business units to avoid siloed or redundant AI initiatives.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to business outcomes (e.g., efficiency gains, revenue impact, cost reduction).
• Foster stakeholder engagement and change management to ensure adoption of AI solutions.
• Continuously assess program performance, identify risks and optimize impact.
• Manage contractual and billing aspects (PR/PO) for all consultants and vendors.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in project or program management, digital transformation, or technology delivery.
• Proven experience managing complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
• Good understanding of operations, constraints and the data ecosystem of an aviation services organization; familiarity with the MHIRJ environment is a strong asset.
• Ability to quickly learn new technological concepts.
• Ability to connect technical AI concepts to business outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with strong influencing ability.
• English is required; the selected person will regularly communicate with colleagues, clients or partners located outside Quebec.
• Assets:
  • Experience in AI, machine learning or data‑driven initiatives.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, analytics or cloud environments.
  • Experience with transformation programs.
  • Experience in change management.
