Job Description
Our Program Management team is expanding and looking to add a Program Manager. We are seeking a dynamic and driven candidate interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.
The Program Manager oversees projects within a program to ensure activities are carried out according to specifications, schedules, and budgets. They lead the program team and coordinate inter-departmental functions to achieve on-time completion of customer and Minth requirements. Responsibilities include:
- Identifying customer and Minth program deliverables, requirements, objectives, quality standards, and timing; communicating and updating the program team, customer, and management on the program status.
- Maintaining and managing the master program schedule.
- Ensuring compliance with the Minth Program Management Gateway system.
- Generating and obtaining program budget approval; tracking ongoing costs.
- Ensuring program budget conformance to margins, tooling, capital, and development costs.
- Communicating financial issues to the Account Manager for resolution with the customer.
- Chairing regular program review meetings.
- Delegating deliverables to the program team.
- Supporting product design activities as defined by the program team and customer, including early product build events and plant launches.
- Ensuring APQP requirements are met, adhering to TS-16949 standards and Minth policies.
Qualifications:
- A technical degree and at least 3 years of experience in program management or a related field.
- Program Management Certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of risk management experience, including assessing project risks, controlling timing, and evaluating program performance, reliability, manufacturability, and market competitiveness.
- Experience with optimization modeling for status reviews.
- At least 3 years analyzing financial statements, using regression models, and managing program budgets to ensure margin and cost control.
- Minimum 3 years experience with full-cycle automotive engineering design, from research to production planning.
- Experience with MINTH products preferred.
- Knowledge of customer procedures and expectations.
- Experience with launching products for automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
